Ali Bey is a strong healthy plant with very good leaf cover, producing some side shoots. It is setting late and is very productive. Ali Bey grows well in Turkish spring open field conditions in mountainous areas.

The fruits have long oval shape, a dark yellow black spotted background skin with a shiny, attractive colour. The wrinkling is less than Tavas and the seed cavity is smaller. The fruits weight 5,0 kg and are very sweet (13.7° Brix). The shelf life is medium.
